Two people were injured when a U-haul hit an overpass on Woodmill Road Sunday afternoon. Hopkinsville Police report 26-year old Mykaell Duncan of Hopkinsville was driving the U-haul southbound on Woodmill Road at 3:50 p.m. when she told officers she was approaching the bridge, saw the clearance sign and stopped the truck. She then said that a red pick-up truck rear-ended her.

However, police say after an investigation there was no evidence of another vehicle being involved in the collision, but that the top of the U-haul hit the bridge. Officers indicate Duncan and her passenger, 28-year old Stephen Brown of Hopkinsville did not want to cooperate. Police say CSX was notified about the collision.

Duncan and Brown were transported by ambulance to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for treatment.
