A Hopkinsville man was taken to the hospital after his vehicle slid off of Greenville Road Saturday afternoon.
The Christian County Sheriff’s Office reports 43-year old Ashley Locke was driving northbound on Greenville Road after leaving a friend’s house when he lost control of the rear end of his pickup truck, causing him to slide off of the road and hit an embankment. The truck then traveled the ditch line, spun around and came to rest in the ditch. Deputies say Locke’s father was on the scene and stated that his tires did not have much tread on them and that could have possibly been the reason for the accident.
Locke was transported by ambulance to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for treatment of injuries.
