Kentucky State Police have released more information, including the names of the subjects who fled from officers during a traffic stop on Interstate 24 in Lyon County Wednesday.
Trooper Jody Cash tells the News Edge the male was captured in the area of the 48-mile marker of Interstate 24 in Lyon County and they are still searching for the female.
State Police identified the male as 35-year old Yusif Khalil Jackson of Olympia, Washington. The female passenger still being sought by police is 19-year old Aaliyah Ray’shun Bowman of Tacoma, Washington.
According to KSP, troopers made the traffic stop just before 11:50 Wednesday morning around the 46-mile marker of Interstate 24. During the stop, both Jackson and Bowman fled from the scene on foot. Troopers captured Jackson Wednesday afternoon, but are still searching the area for Bowman.
