The Washington woman who was being sought after fleeing from police during a traffic stop on Interstate 24 in Lyon County has been apprehended.
According to Kentucky State Police, 19-year old Aaliyah Ray’shun Bowman of Tacoma, Washington and 35-year old Yusif Khalil Jackson of Olympia, Washington are both lodged in the Caldwell County Jail.
Troopers made the traffic stop just before noon Wednesday around the 46-mile marker of Interstate 24. During the stop, both Jackson and Bowman fled from the scene on foot. Troopers captured Jackson Wednesday afternoon and Bowman was apprehended a couple of hours following his arrest.
At this time, no other details have been released by state police.
