Two Teens Hurt In Talbert Drive Collision Wednesday

Two teenagers were injured in a three-vehicle wreck in front of Circle K at the intersection of Talbert Drive and North Main Street in Hopkinsville Tuesday morning.

According to the accident report, the crash occurred around 7:50 a.m. when 16-year old Ashtin Turns of Hopkinsville pulled out of the convenience store parking lot and was crossing the intersection to Talbert Drive and the SUV was hit by a southbound vehicle on North Main Street driven by 47-year old Angela Redd of Hopkinsville. The SUV then hit a pickup truck driven by 34-year old David Wells of Cadiz who was stopped at the stop sign at the intersection on Talbert Drive.

Hopkinsville Police say Turns was transported by ambulance to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for a possible severe injury and her passenger, 16-year old Keira McCowen of Hopkinsville, had her mother take her to the hospital for an evaluation after she complained of head and face pain. Wells was not hurt in the crash.
