A Crofton man was arrested Monday afternoon on a warrant for burglary and assault charges. The Christian County Sheriff’s Office served the warrant on 33-year old Michael Willard around 2:45 p.m. on Madisonville Road.
On December 11, according to the arrest warrant, his ex-girlfriend reported Willard kicked in the door to her house and grabbed her by the arms. He then left the scene in the victim’s car prior to the arrival of officers. The victim told police she had given Willard permission to use the vehicle prior to the incident, however, he was instructed to return it. Police say at the time of the investigation the vehicle had not been returned.
Willard was booked into the Christian County Jail charged with second-degree burglary, fourth-degree dating violence assault no visible injury, and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
