Two Hopkinsville men were taken to the hospital after a two-vehicle collision at East 9th Street and McLean Avenue Tuesday afternoon.
According to the accident report, 71-year old Glenn Fruit was southbound on East 9th Street and attempted to turn left onto McLean Avenue when he pulled into the path of a northbound SUV driven by 60-year old Roscoe Anderson. Fruit told Hopkinsville Police he thought Anderson was also turning onto McLean Avenue because he had his blinker on, but Anderson stated he was actually going to turn onto Belmont Street a little farther up.
Police say both men complained of pain and were transported by ambulance to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for non-life threatening injuries.
