The Chief Student Affairs officer at Hopkinsville Community College has been named the new President of the Henderson Community College.
The Henderson Gleaner reports Kentucky Community and Technical College System President Dr. Jay Box announced late Thursday the appointment of Dr. Jason Warren as the new president.
Warren also served as chief Institutional Advancement officer at the college and was a founding coordinator of the college’s Upward Bound program. Prior to that, he held positions at the University of Louisville library and has served as an instructor at Murray State University, University of Louisville and Hopkinsville Community College.
Warren says he is extremely honored to serve as president of Henderson Community College and looks forward to meeting the students, faculty and staff and building relationships in the community.
Warren begins his duties at Henderson as president on February 1.
