A disturbance involving an alleged assault and possible shots fired on Windy Hill Drive early Thursday morning is being investigated by the sheriff’s office.
The Christian County Sheriff’s Office reports deputies responded to a home in the 100 block where a female victim stated she had been hit in the eye, which caused a small cut and swelling. The victim stated a second suspect tried to hit her but did not make contact. The eight suspects, whose names are redacted on the police report, then got into a car and fled the scene and reportedly hit the victim’s car causing damage to the front end and passenger side.
According to the report, the victim said one of the suspects fired a gun toward the residence, but deputies say no shell casings were found during a search and there was no damage to the home. Deputies said one of the suspects also made a post on Facebook bragging about the incident.
At this time, no arrests have been made.
