At least one person was displaced following a fire early Tuesday morning on the South Road in Trigg County.
According to Linton Fire Department Chief Jason Porter, firefighters were called to the fire at 15469 South Road around 12:30 am. Porter says there were two single-wide trailers joined by a deck owned by Matt Ramirez. One trailer caught fire and the blaze eventually consumed both trailers.
Ramirez was not home at the time of the blaze. A friend of his was staying in one of the trailers to watch Ramirez’ dog. No one was injured in the fire, but Ramirez and his friend lost everything.
Porter has not released any information about a possible cause of the fire.
