The region is in for a nice weekend, but temperatures will fall during the beginning of the week and stay low for a while.
Weather Edge forecaster David Powell says afternoon highs on Saturday and Sunday will be in the mid-40s and Monday in the mid-50s, but Monday afternoon temperatures will drop drastically.
Powell adds the colder weather will stick around for a while.
