A Clarksville man was charged with first-degree burglary and two counts of fourth-degree assault after breaking into a Woodland Heights Apartment Monday.
According to a Christian County Sheriff’s Office report, 20-year-old Tavaris Williams pushed open a door at Woodland Heights Apartments and demanded to see his kids and wanted to take them with him.
He reportedly hit the children’s mother 21-year-old Tiera Robinson in the face along with her sister, then chased Robinson with a gun.
He fled the area and was later located in another apartment and the gun was found in a closet.
Both women were taken to Jennie Stuart Medical Center by ambulance for head injuries.
