Hopkinsville First United Methodist Church will have a new daycare director in place when they reopen the daycare Monday.
Cindy Dougherty confirmed to the News Edge Thursday afternoon that she will be the new director. Daugherty, who has worked in the accounting department at Sisk Auto Mall since 2017, says she is looking forward to being a part of the ministry.
Dougherty adds she chose to seek the daycare director position because of the kids.
She says daycare parents can be assured their children are in good hands.
Dougherty is a graduate of Austin Peay State University with a Major in Administration and Supervision. She formerly served as director of A Kid’s Place Daycare in Hopkinsville. Dougherty is also a photo-journalist and frequently provides content for Your Sports Edge.
She is married to Pat Dougherty.
