A Guthrie baby has died after he was mauled by a dog Thursday evening.
Guthrie Police report it occurred on North Ewing Street. The one-year-old boy was playing with a ball on the floor when the dog came inside and attacked the child. The attack caused severe injuries to the baby with the baby’s grandmother also suffering a bite on the arm while trying to stop the attack.
The baby was transported to Tennova Health in Clarksville, where he died from his injuries.
