The National Weather Service has issued Flood Warning for western Kentucky through Monday afternoon.
Weather Edge Forecaster David Powell says the area has already received a lot of rain.
Powell adds to take it easy while driving and remember the saying “turn around, don’t drown”.
According to Powell, the rainfall will end by Tuesday morning but we could see winds gusting up to 40 miles per hour by Tuesday afternoon.
Powell says we could see another heavy rainfall event by Friday that could end in some snowfall. Afternoon highs through the week will be in the 50’s, with a cooler weekend in store.
