The Mongomery County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a felony evading and stolen vehicle suspect.
Public Information Officer Sandra Brandon reports deputies are searching in the Lock B North area for 32-year old Dustin Ryan Williams, who is a suspect in three vehicle thefts and a person of interest in a vehicular assault that occurred Thursday morning at the Kroger gas station on Lowe’s Drive in Clarksville.
Brandon says Williams was observed on Sulphur Springs Road in one of the stolen vehicles and fled at a high rate of speed when deputies tried to make a traffic stop. He eventually dumped the vehicle in the Cumberland River and fled on foot.
Williams is described as a white male, 5 feet 7 inches tall, approximately 150 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes. He was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, blue jeans, and a baseball cap. Brandon adds he has been known to wear his hair long or short.
If you see Williams or know his location, Brandon says do not initiate contact, but call 911. She advises residents in the area should take extra precaution by securing your home and vehicles.
