Hopkinsville Man Charged With Wanton Endangerment After Fight

A Hopkinsville man was charged with wanton endangerment and alcohol intoxication in public after a fight on Gospel Peace Road Sunday night.

According to a Christian County Sheriff’s Office report, Deputies were called to Gospel Peace Road for shots fired and yelling and found 28-year-old Richard Spain in the road yelling at another man and pointing a gun at his face.

When deputies announced that they were there Spain backed up and put the gun in his boot.

He was put in the deputies cruiser and reportedly concealed three spent rounds along with one live round.

He is charged with first-degree wanton endangerment, tampering with physical evidence, carrying a concealed weapon and alcohol intoxication in a public place.
