Hopkinsville Man Charged After Swallowing Drugs

A Hopkinsville man was charged with tampering with physical evidence after police arrested him on a probation violation warrant Wednesday morning.

Hopkinsville Police say 35-year-old McKinley West was arrested on a warrant after he failed to follow the conditions of his release and during the arrest, he admitted to police that he had swallowed drugs.

A body scan at the Christian County Jail showed a white bag in his stomach.
