Motorcycle Rider Critically Injured In Saturday Crash

Clarksville Police say the driver of a motorcycle was critically injured in a crash Saturday evening on Wilma Rudolph Boulevard.

Police say the crash happened around 5:00 when a 43-year-old man was attempting to make a left turn out of the McDonalds parking lot to head north on Wilma Rudolph Boulevard.  The man pulled into the path of a motorcycle, driven by a man in his 20s, that was southbound on Wilma Rudolph.  The motorcycle ran into the left side of the car.

The driver of the motorcycle was flown Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville in critical, unstable condition.

The names of those involved in the accident have not been released.
