Magistrates Approve Funding To Replace E-911 Equipment

Christian County Fiscal Court magistrates approved three E-911 Advisory Board recommendations Tuesday morning, including funding for tuning cans and extending the software maintenance contract.

Christian County Emergency Management Director Randy Graham says the cost to replace the tuning cans and transmission equipment at the Oak Grove radio tower site is nearly $14,000.

Magistrates also approved the Omnistar subscription and software maintenance extension as presented by E-911 Coordinator David Carroll.

Magistrates also unanimously approved the Flex Fund recommendation of $217,000 to be used on the surfacing of county roads. County Road Superintendent Paul Finley says they want to use the funding for patching.

Finley adds he is preparing a priority list of county roads that need to be patched.

The next fiscal court meeting will be Tuesday morning, April 23, at 8:30.
