A Hopkinsville man was charged with possession of methamphetamine after a traffic stop Friday morning.
Hopkinsville Police say 72-year-old Ray Pluskis was the passenger in a vehicle that was stopped at East 22nd Street and South Virginia Street just before 3 a.m. for an improper start.
A police K9 reportedly alerted on the vehicle and a bag with methamphetamine was found in the door.
Pluskis is charged with tampering with physical evidence, possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
He is lodged at the Christian County Jail.
