A well-known barbeque restaurant in Benton caught fire Saturday morning.
According to a post on Boss Hogg’s Facebook page, the restaurant located on US Highway 68 was a total loss after a fire broke out. Firefighters were called to the restaurant around 7:00, with initial calls to the Marshall County Dispatch reporting black smoke inside and a passerby later reporting the building, was fully engulfed.
The restaurant was slated to celebrate their first anniversary Saturday. The post continued in saying “please keep our family, our employees and their families in your prayers as we get through this horrible tragedy”.
