Numerous students earned their GED during a graduation ceremony held at Hopkinsville Community College Thursday evening.
Director of Academic Foundations/Adult Education Gary Dawson told the students that focusing leads to success.
HCC CEO/President Alissa Young added she is tremendously proud of all of the graduates.
Medical Information Technology Program Coordinator Angela Smith delivered the keynote speech. She imparted wisdom to the graduates about perseverance and continuing on when the situation looks hopeless.
Smith received her GED approximately nine years after dropping out of high school.
She added that quitting is never an option.
Over one hundred adults from Christian, Caldwell, Todd, and Trigg counties were eligible to be recognized during the ceremony.
