A nearly packed Alhambra Theatre enjoyed a red carpet movie premiere of “The Silent Natural” Friday night.
Movie director and co-producer David Risotto tells the News Edge that the premiere went well.
He adds there is still a lot of work ahead of them.
There will be a free meet and greet with the movie’s cast Saturday afternoon at Casey Jones Distillery from 4:00 until 8:00. The second showing of the movie will take place on Sunday afternoon at 2:30. Tickets can be purchased by clicking here.
“The Silent Natural” is based on a true story about the first deaf major league baseball player William “Dummy” Hoy and was filmed at several locations around the area.
