A Hopkinsville man was charged with assault and wanton endangerment after pulling a gun during an argument on Hazel Street Tuesday night.
Hopkinsville Police say 29-year-old Jerald Buckner got into an argument with a woman over not answering his phone when watching her kids.
When the woman attempted to leave with the kids Buckner reportedly hit her in the head then got into an argument with a neighbor and pulled a gun out.
He is charged with fourth-degree assault, first-degree wanton endangerment, and second-degree burglary along with probation violation.
