The National Weather Service in Paducah has issued a Lake Wind Advisory effective for all of western Kentucky through 7:00 Monday evening.
Meteorologists say northwest winds will increase up to 20 mph throughout the day, with gusts over 30 mph possible. A Lake Wind Advisory means that winds will cause rough chop on area lakes and that small boats are prone to capsizing.
