Police have released more information in the shooting of a man on Greenville Road Thursday night.
Hopkinsville Police Lt. Seth Meek said 26-year old Dayquan Redd of Hopkinsville was shot at the apartments and was taken by private vehicle to the hospital.
Police were at the same apartments on June 6th when 23-year-old Amareya Freeman was shot and killed on the front porch.
Police say family and friends had gathered at the complex after Freeman’s funeral when Redd was shot but it’s unknown if it’s connected.
Police blocked off the area while the scene was being processed and collected multiple shell casings.
At this time, no arrest has been made.
