Local students have been working hard this week serving the community during the tenth annual Camp Cadiz, presented by the Little River Baptist Association.
Camp organizer Andrea Hampton tells the News Edge how the program got started and has continued to grow.
She provides some highlights from the week.
Hampton says the goal of Camp Cadiz is to share the love of Christ with the community.
Two students involved in Camp Cadiz, 16-year old Zoi Burcham and 15-year old Zavien Lewis, talk about what it means to them to be involved in the program.
For their tenth year, Camp Cadiz hosted 136 students with 108 adult volunteers. Hampton says anyone interested in joining the program next year can contact the Little River Baptist Association.
