The inaugural WKDZ Barn Bash was held Friday night at the Western Kentucky State Fair to raise awareness and funds for Pennyroyal Hospice.
Hospice Director Kelly Martin tells the News Edge events like the Barn Bash are very important for their organization.

He adds a lot of people who need their services fall through the cracks with insurance companies.
right-click to download mp3The Barn Bash raised $1,100 to fund services for families in need across their five-county service area of Caldwell, Christian, Lyon, Todd, and Trigg counties.
