A traffic stop for speeding led to drug charges on Hopkinsville Road Saturday afternoon.
Todd County Sheriff Tracy White said they stopped a vehicle driven by 44-year-old Steven Lowe of Bowling Green for going 81 MPH in a 65 MPH zone.
Deputies could reportedly smell marijuana in the vehicle and Lowe told them he had just left a party.
After a search of the vehicle deputies located three pills believed to be ecstasy.
He is charged with first-degree possession of a controlled substance and speeding.
