A Hopkinsville man fled from police after assaulting a woman at a local grocery store Sunday afternoon.
Hopkinsville Police say 29-year-old Henry Pratt assaulted a woman causing cuts and swelling to her face at Kroger on Skyline Drive.
Pratt fled on foot and was found by police walking on Pennyrile Parkway but would not comply with police when they asked him to stop or put his hands behind him.
He is charged with first-degree fleeing or evading police, fourth-degree assault, and resisting arrest.
