Four people were injured in a two-vehicle collision in Princeton, with one flown from the scene, Thursday evening.

Princeton Police Chief Chris King says that officers responded to a two-vehicle injury collision at the intersection of Dawson Springs and Airport Roads just before six. He adds that preliminary investigation revealed that 29-year-old Jonathon D. Hogan, of Dawson Springs, was eastbound on Dawson Springs Road when 88-year-old Charles L. Patton, of Princeton, pulled out in front of him. Hogan’s vehicle then struck Patton’s vehicle on the driver side and came to a rest in the roadway, with Patton’s vehicle coming to a rest off the roadway.

Chief King notes that Patton was extricated from the vehicle and was airlifted from the scene to Skyline Medical Center in Nashville.

A passenger in Patton’s vehicle, 73-year-old Wanda S. Patton, of Princeton, as well as Hogan and a passenger in his vehicle, 30-year-old Christopher S. Kenady, of Clarkson, Kentucky, were transported to Caldwell Medical Center ER by Caldwell County EMS.
