Chief Chad Grace resigned from the Cadiz Police Department.
Mayor Todd King says the chief resigned Tuesday and temporary leadership is already in place.
King adds he does not know when they will start the search for a new chief.
Grace tells the News Edge he resigned for personal reasons and left the City on good terms.
Grace was hired at the Cadiz Police Department in 2006 and has served as chief since 2013.
