Kentucky State Transportation officials have denied the request to add turn lane signals to two intersections in Cadiz.
Trigg County Judge-Executive Hollis Alexander tells the News Edge he received notification Tuesday that the U.S. 68/Main Street intersection near FNB Bank and the U.S. 68/Broadbent Boulevard intersection near Interstate 24 did not have enough traffic to warrant the signals.
Alexander adds they may ask the department to revisit the intersections and complete another traffic count survey to see if there are any changes in the near future.
