Youth Serve in Hopkinsville Mission Project

Youth from around the region came together over the weekend to participate in a mission project for New Jerusalem Baptist Church in Hopkinsville.

Organizer Angie Mills tells the News Edge the mission trip was a success, and she is proud of the kids’ hard work.

Reverend Matthew Bradley says it was a great opportunity to help Bro. Richard Quarles, pastor of New Jerusalem Baptist.

Reverend Bradley expressed his gratitude toward Grace Episcopal Church, which served as headquarters for the group during their trip.

He adds it was a great opportunity for the youth to learn the value of service.

AnnaBelle Mills, who participated in the mission trip, says she enjoyed her experience and the work they did.

Jennie Watts adds she learned to make long-lasting friendships.

Reverend Bradley says they are already planning another mission trip for next year.
