The Hopkinsville Band of Tigers brought home some awards from a Saturday band competition.
According to the band’s social media page, they took home the Reserved Grand Champion from the Union City Invitational in Union City, TN. The band also received first place in Class 4A, Best Musical Effect, Best Visual Effect, Best General Effect, and Best Color Guard.
The band will perform again Friday evening during the Hopkinsville High School and Christian County High School football game at the Stadium of Champions and Saturday at the Muhlenberg County Marching Classic.
