With flu cases already being reported in Christian County, local health officials are encouraging residents to go ahead and get vaccinated against the contagious respiratory illness.
Flu season normally begins in September and October and Christian County Health Department Health Education Manager Amanda Bassingthwaite says they now have flu vaccinations available.

She notes they have already seen some flu cases in the county and planning is key.
