A man was charged with burglary after he reportedly concealed items at a Hopkinsville store Sunday afternoon.
Hopkinsville Police say 30-year-old Robert Steele of Hopkinsville was seen concealing $202 worth of merchandise at the Dollar General on East 7th Street and when confronted by an employee he fled leaving the items behind.
He was later found and charged with third-degree burglary. Steele also had outstanding warrants for failure to appear and shoplifting.
