A man wanted for attempted murder in Stewart County, TN, is now in custody.
Montgomery County Sheriff’s spokeswoman Sandra Brandon says Thomas Reynolds was taken into custody Sunday afternoon in rural Montgomery County. Reynolds was wanted out of Stewart County for attempted murder second degree, aggravated assault, domestic assault, reckless endangerment and being a felon in possession of a handgun.
Police were able to locate Reynolds after a clerk at a Dollar General Store on Dover Road called police after they saw the suspect purchase a wig, hat, jeans, shirt, food and hygiene products. Shortly after a homeowner called 911 after they noticed a suspicious man run into the woods behind their home.
Reynolds was booked into the Stewart County Jail, with a bond set at $127,500.
