Authorities are investigating a shooting that claimed the life of a 31-year old man in Clarksville Tuesday night.
Police spokesman Jim Knoll says when officers responded to a fight in progress and shooting at the 900 block of College Street they found the man with a gunshot wound and unresponsive. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Knoll says they are following up on solid leads after conducting interviews with witnesses at the scene. He says it is believed the victim and suspect knew each other.
