Man Charged With Manufacturing Meth In Christian County

A Christian County man was arrested on several drug and counterfeit money charges after deputies went to his Butler Road home Friday night.

Christian County Sheriff’s Deputy Charlie Fiscella said they went to the home of 35-year-old Matthew Martin to arrest him on a probation violation warrant and during the arrest found drug paraphernalia in his pocket.

Deputies were reportedly able to get a search warrant for his home and found a meth lab, cocaine, a counterfeit money operation along with a stolen gun.

Kentucky State Police were called to remove the dangerous chemicals from the home.

Martin is charged with manufacturing meth, receiving stolen property, possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, first-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument and possession of cocaine.
