Slow progress was made by Pennyrile Electric and other crews Monday to restore power to people in Christian and Todd counties after a Saturday afternoon severe storm knocked down numerous power lines.
Pennyrile Spokesman Brent Gilkey says things are going well as crews have restored power to around 400 customers Monday.
Gilkey notes the number of customers affected by outages will slowly decrease as crews work throughout the night.
Gilkey adds crews from Warren Rural and West Kentucky Rural Electric and Davis Elliott and Five Star have contractors helping their crews, as much as possible.
The exact time of restoration has not been released by Pennyrile Electric, but the latest outage map can be viewed here.
