Police are investigating a forged check someone attempted to cash in Hopkinsville Monday afternoon.
Hopkinsville Police say someone attempted to cash a forged check for $9,800 at Place 1 Liquors on Fort Campbell Boulevard.
No arrest has been made but the report lists the charge as criminal possession of a forged instrument.
