The Alhambra Theatre kicked off the holiday season by launching a new mascot that honors a man known for his work behind the scenes.
Pennyroyal Arts Council Executive Director Margaret Prim tells the News Edge the mascot was created earlier this year.
Hardison was the owner of Little River Stage Productions and provided sound, lighting and other special effects for many performances at the Western Kentucky State Fair, James E. Bruce Convention Center, Alhambra Theatre, and many other events.
Prim adds they have stuffed animal replicas of their mascot on sale for the holiday season.
The Alhambra Theatre is located at 577 South Main Street in downtown Hopkinsville.
