The Trigg County High School Youth Leadership class spent Tuesday learning about local media.
Junior Avery Harper tells the News Edge the biggest takeaway has been the friendships and learning how various businesses work.
Senior Keegan Slone adds the class also helps them decide what job fields they may be interested in.
Class coordinator Laura Shelton says the leadership class visits a different industry each month.
Shelton adds she loves spending time with the teenagers in the program.
She notes the class is comprised of 21 students and is the largest youth leadership class.
The class had the chance to tour and learn about the Edge Media Group and WKDZ/WHVO.
