Community members and school employees had a chance to meet new Trigg County Superintendent Bill Thorpe Tuesday afternoon.
Thorpe tells the News Edge it has been exciting meeting the community.
He adds he will spend the next few weeks getting ready for the position.
Thorpe was offered and accepted a contract for Superintendent position from Trigg County Public Schools on Thursday, November 21 and will take over January 1, 2020.
