A man was charged with possession of meth after the vehicle he was in was stopped for a traffic violation in Todd County Monday morning.
Todd County Sheriff’s Deputies stopped a vehicle on Greenville Road for a traffic violation and during the stop, the driver told deputies he had a pellet gun in the vehicle.
Deputies removed everyone from the vehicle and searched the passenger 20-year-old Eric Covington of Lewisburg and located a plastic baggie of meth along with a syringe and a glass pipe containing meth residue.
Covington was arrested and charged with possession of meth.
