As 2019 comes to a close, Trigg County Public Schools are gearing up for a new Superintendent in less two weeks.
Acting Superintendent Tim McGinnis tells the News Edge he is working with Bill Thorpe to ensure a smooth transition.
McGinnis offers some advice for Thorpe, as he takes over on January 1.
He adds it was rewarding to come back to the district.
McGinnis notes one of the highlights of getting to come back, was working with the children.
McGinnis was hired as the acting superintendent by the school board in July after former Superintendent Travis Hamby was hired as the leader of the Allen County School District.
