Planters Bank is partnering with six downtown Hopkinsville businesses as a part of a training program.
The bank reports the four-month business improvement training and Community Reinvention Program will begin by sending the members to a Destination Bootcamp in Longmont, Colorado from March 30 to April 2, 2020. After the Bootcamp, the representatives will receive ongoing consulting assistance.
Community Reinvestment Act Officer Jennifer Maddux says Planters Bank is paying the program tuition of $1,700 for each of the participants. Maddux notes Planters Bank is excited to expand its commitment to downtown Hopkinsville by bringing the opportunity to local businesses.
The participants include:
- Kiley Killebrew – Owner of J. Schrecker Jewelry
- Griffin Moore – Owner of Griffin’s Studio
- Drew Howes – Store Manager of Bella Marie Boutique
- DeeAnna Sova – Member of the Hopkinsville Art Guild
- Heather Dawson – Co-owner of The Mixer
- Joey Merdeiros – Co-owner of the Hopkinsville Brewing Company
- Holly Boggess – Downtown Renaissance Director
