A Hopkinsville man was assaulted in a robbery on West 1st Street in the area of North Jessup Avenue Sunday night.
Hopkinsville Police say 21-year-old Justin Cooper stated a 17-year-old juvenile and two other people took marijuana, money and his 9mm handgun from him before assaulting him during a drug transaction.
The juvenile has been arrested and charged with first-degree robbery and possession of marijuana. Cooper suffered only minor injuries from the assault.
